BERMUN 2: A great success
The BERMUN 2 conference ended about 4 months ago (shows you how long we’ve been working on this issue) from now and was held at the KAS (Konrad Adenauer Stiftung). About 250 delegates from 23 schools participated, with 14 Administrative staff helping to make the conference run smoothly. The main topic of the whole conference: ‘Responsible Resource Consumption’. All of the committees successfully debated, and created resolutions and solved burning questions and arguments. Heated debates would very frequently unfold, but they would all be solved with a banging of the gavel on the desk of the chairs.
The Administrative staff, led by Franzine Jackson, Stella Brass and Julius Schmid, helped run the conference smoothly. I, Nils Bespolka, was part of the Administrative Staff, and had the liberty of working between four different committees, three of which were in house 1, and 1 was in house 2. The whole of the Administrative worked tirelessly, with them running here and there, fixing problems, bringing chairs cables for their computers, and setting up lunch.
The whole conference was laid out by many people such as Mr. Lang, Miss Robertson and Herr Lück, just to name a few. Maya Hauff, Solomon Iro, Ophelia Reuter and Friedrich Martens. They were a key part of the BERMUN 2 conference, with all of the planning and setting things up.
